Bay Hospital Staff

Twelve applications were received by the Bay of Islands Hospital Board for the position of managing-secretary to the board (a wartime appointment). The board at its monthly meeting reduced the number to three, Messrs W. R. W. Wade, G. R. Lyneh-Blosse and R. N. Storey. The names are to be submitted to the Department of Health for approval in the order of preference. It was also decided that appeals should be lodged for all staff members balloted.

A further staff change took place in the appointment of Dr L. H. Simpson, of Auckland, who will take up his duties as house surgeon in January.
