N. African Economies
(Rec. 1 p.m.) RUGBY, December 17. An eight man economic mission has been sent to North Africa to assist Mr Robert Murphy, formerly United States ConsulGeneral in North Africa and now Acting Chief of Staff of Civil Affairs to General Eisenhower. Their first task will be to make a survey of French North African requirements in non-military supplies from the United States. Secondly lo make a survey of the production and supply of materials to be ..available for the United Nations.
