DISTINCTION TO FREYBERGS

General Freyoerg and Lady Freyberg have both been mentioned in dispatches in the “London Gazette” for gallant and distinguished services in the Middle East. inis is believed to be the first time husband and wife on war service have been gazetted together. i,ady Freyberg went to Egypt in KRii and organised a lorces club for the fighting men of the desert army.
