British Warships For U.S.
OTTAWA, August 13.
Mr. MacDonald said it was probable that Britain will give the United States some of a hundred warships now under consti’uction in Canada for Britain. They are mainly corvettes and mine-sweepers. Mr. MacDonald said 50 had been commissioned for the navy this year.
