No Lack Of Canadian Reinforcements
- OTTAWA, April 9 The Defence Minister (Mr. J. Ralston) has returnee from a Pacific Coast inspection and told the Press that suggestions that the Canadian Corps overseas or the Canadian army were lacking in reinforcements were without foundation. Reinforcements were up (o the full scale asked for by General MeNaughton. Mr. Ralston said that March enlistments totalled 8821. He 'added (hat the defences of the Pacific Coast were better than he expected. anc, were constantly increasing. Although he expressed satisfaction at the progress achieved, he pointed out that the Government plans further very con-’ siderable increases.
