Northland Prisoners
[Special to "Northern Advocate”! AUCKLAND, This Day. A further list of New Zealand prisoners cl war in Italy was broadcast last night by the Vatican City, Rome. Sergeant G. B. Hawkes, in a message to L. Hawkes, Onerahi, said: “Am prisoner ol war in Italy. Am well and not badly treated.” Tne list includes the following soldiers from Northland:

Churton (registered No. 23295), Kaitaia; W. H. Connell, c/o F. OiDbie, Wellsforc; Pte. W. J. Davy, Tahekeroa, Northland; Sapper K. W. Christianson (registered No. 36543), Kaitaia; F. W. Efford, Paparoa.
