Rawene Opens Bowling Season
With ideal weather prevailing, Mrs. C. Kahi threw the jack to open the Rawene bowling green on Sunday. Visitors from Kaikohe and Kawakawa were present and were extended a warm welcome by the president (Mr. A.'Fuller). Friendly matches were played during the afternoon, followed by ah enjoyable afternoon tea served by the ladies.
