Big Polish Armies Still In The Field
(Rec. 1 p.m.) RUGBY, Nov. 13. Forty -eight thousand Poles are fighting in the ranks of the Allies on land, sea and air in Britain and the Middle East, said the Polish Prime • Minister (General Sikorski) in Egypt to Press correspondents. He added: “In Russia we can easily form an army cf 150,000 men who have been deported from Poland and are being liberated. “Of these 60,000 are fully equipped. Others are working in munition factories in South Russia, but all are willing to join the army when equipment is provided.” General Sikorski added that although 82,000 Polish men, women and children have been executed by the Germans, Hitler was on the verge of a volcano. He must be crazy to believe he could exterminate a nation of 30.000.000.
