Mockey A Grade Confined To Ladies’ Matches
With no men’s hockey, owing to the restrictions, main interest was centred at the High School grounds, where some brilliant play was witnessed. Kara proved too good for Old Girls in the first A Grade match and High School showed their best form to date when they accounted for Hora Hora. This latter was a popular victory, as School have certainly worked up some clever combination. RESULTS AT A GLANCE Ladies’ A —Kara 4, Old Girls 2. High School 3, Hora Hora 2. Ladies’ B—Hikurangi 8, Old Girls B 0. Woolworths 5, School 1. Hora Hora 4, United 0.
