Producing their best form to date. High School fully deserved their first victory at the expense of Hora Hora. One down at half-time, Hora Hora started the second spell with vigour, and although hard pressed at times, Miss S. Heke gave a safe display in the High School goal, stopping what seemed impossible shots. Both teams scored two goals in the second spell, High School hanging on tenaciously to win by th,e odd goal in five. For School, Misses E. Beasley (2) and M. Frood scored, while for Hora Hora, Misses P. Alison and E. Richards netted. Messrs. N. Munro and J. J. Ashcroft refereed.

United played well at times, but poor following up by the forwards lost them many chances. For Hora Hora, Misses E. Pitman (3) and R. Dobson netted. Messrs. R. Nixey and G. A. R. McKoj umpired.
