The need for strengthening the Law and Order section of the E.P.S organisation in Whangarei was brought before the meeting of the executive of the organisation by the controller (Inspector Fox) at a meeting last night. Inspector Fox said that at the commencement of the organisation he had a section of 80 men, but this number had now been reduced to 30 Some have gone to the front, others had joined military units and many were in the Home Guard, He appealed to men who were eligible to join the section.
