Save Your Stamps

The patriotic committee want used stamps—millions of them—to sell to swell the patriotic fund. We get lots at H.Q. from your letters and entries. We’ve been saving them for some while, too. Usually a young nephew gets them, but he won’t mind giving them up for this. You may get only a few letters at home and perhaps think the stamps are not worth keeping. Suppose you send them in to H.Q. with your competition entries and letters. That is, of course, if you’re not already saving them for a school collection or something similar. All kinds of N.Z. stamps will do, provided they are clean, not- torn, and not too heavily . post-marked Carefully tear out the corner of the envelope with them on and send them in. We’ll keep all the stamps cn the letters you post, and between us we ought to get a nice pile. Start right away, Northlanders, and see how many we can get by next week. Then don’t stop. Keep on saving and sending. .And when you’ve got all the family stamps, get your friend’s.
