Miss Edna Pitman is spending her annual holidays at Auckland and Hamilton. Coming-of-Age Celebration On Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Steedman held a party at their residence to celebrate the twenty-first birthday of their eldest son, Rex. A very delightful evening was spent with card and party games, tthe cheerful open fire adding to the comfort and enjoyment of the guests. The prize-winners for cards were Mr. and Mrs. Tonner. Miss Cathie Tonner was the winner for games. The hostess served a dainty supper. The very attractive birthday cake was of special interest on account of its icing and decorations being the work of Rex’s youngest brother, Jimmie. Mr. A. Tavinor was toastmaster.
