[Special to “Northern Advocate”! 1 AUCKLAND, This Day. Formerly posted as missing, Captain C. Wright, who carried out Church Army work with the New Zealand Forces in Greece has now been reported as fit and well. Captain Wright’s home is at Whangarei. A cable containing information that he was safe has been received' at Church Army headquarters. Advice that Captain C. L. Wright, of the Church Army, who went overseas with the Second Echelon, was missing, had been received by his father, Mr L. Wright, of Otaika. Born at Hamilton 27 years ago, Captain Wright was brought to the Ruakaka district as an infant. Before going overseas, he was engaged in farming at Otaika and was well known for his church activities, particularly among the young people. He was a leader of Sunday School activities at Christ Church, Whangarei, and also travelled throughout the district in connection with this work. Joining the Church Army at the outbreak of war he won promotion overseas.
