N.S.S. Pays Higher Dividend
[Special to “Northern Advocate”] AUCKLAND, This Day.
A net profit of £4115 is reported by the Northern Steamship Company, Ltd., for the year ended March 31, and the directors propose a dividend of 31 per cent, for the year, against 3 per cent, last time.
The profit was struck after placing £1544 to reserve, and compares with £4522 in 1939-40, when £ll2B was subsequently appropriated to reserve. The dividend absorbs £3955, and £1204 is carried forward against £1044 brought in.
