Cabled advice has been received by Mrs* E. Allen, Kamo Road, that her son, Sapper T. Allen, of the Second Echelon, is safe and well.
In the course of a tour of the Dominion, Mr. W: Holmes, general secretary of the British Agricultural Workers’ Union, and past-president of the Trades Union Council, will arrive at Rotorua on Monday. He will be accompanied by the Minister for Labour (Mr. Webb). The two visitors will be entertained to a Maori concert, and will be given a civic reception in the evening, '. :
