Believed Attempt To Steal Yacht Maragi

[Special to “Northern Advocate”! AUCKLAND, This Day. The A class cutter-rigged racing yacht Marangi disappeared from her moorings inside the breakwater at Orakei cn Wednesday night, and was found on the rocks, at Target Point, Rangitoto, yesterday. A large knife and a pair of new rubber gloves were found on board. The police are investigating the incident. Mrs. W. Sutherland, of Devonport. whose husband owns the yacht, said that there was every indication that someone had tried to take the yacht to sea.
