The annual meeting of the Westport Trotting Club was held today, the weather being fine and the attendance large. Results: —
Stockton Handicap.—(3-4) Gipsy Lee, 1; (6-7) Alvis Stack, 2; (5-6) Native Ruler, 3. Two lengths; four lengths. All started. Time, 3.54 4-5. Seddonville Handicap.—(l-1) Because, 1; (4-4) Worthy Pointer, 2; (3-2) Claire Town, 3. All started. One length; half a length. Time, 2.20. Gothard Handicap.—(3-3) * Jack Spratt, 1; (1-1) Refund, 2; (5-5) Evora, 3. Scratched: Kosha, Lord Zetland, Equerry. Length and a half; length. Time, 4.49.
