The summer meeting of the Manawatu Racing Club was continued at Awapunf before a large attendance. The weather was fine. Results: —
Himitangi Handicap, of 200 sovs; five furlongs; two-year-olds.— (8) Whipper, 7.2, 1; (1) Gunyah, 8.0, 2; (7) Imperium, 7.4, 3. All started. One and a half lengths; half a neck. Time, 1.3. Trial Handicap, of 150 sovs; six furlongs.—(7) Star Zone, 7.13, 1; (8) Pitmark, 8.5, 2; (6) Squeers, 8.1, 3. Alt started. A length; two lengths. Time, 1.15 2-5.
Lincoln High weight Handicap, of 200 sovs; one mile and a-quarter.— (4) Etruscan, 9.5, 1; (1) Hunting Law, 9.12, 2; (2) Esperance Bay, 10.13, 3. All started. Half-length; a neck. Time, 2.10 2-5. ,
