Italian Communique Claims
(Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, December 25. A Rome communique states: "Our artillery on the Cyrenaica frontier battered enemy armoured units. “We successfully bombed mechanised forces. Our fighters shot down two Hurricanes. “One of our planes did not return. “We repulsed several attacks on the Greek frontier and captured some prisoners, machine guns and rifles. “We repulsed an enemy detachment on the Sudanese frontier.”
