Dairy Heifers To £9/10/-
Walter Wakelin, Ltd., reports a very successful Jersey heifer sale on account of Mr H. O. Horrobin at Pukehuia yesterday. The heifers which were well grown and in good condition met with a brisk sale 'from a good attendance of buyers. ■}. Eai’ly calvers sold from £8 15/- to £9 10/-; good quality August calvers. £7 to £8 5/-; backward heifers, £5 10- to £6 17/6; Shorthorn heifex-s, to £6 11/-; the offering comprised 100 heifers and a total clearance resulted.
