Walter Wakelin, Ltd., reports having held his usual fortnightly pig sale at Tangowahine on Thursday, when a good entry of fat and store pigs met with a ready market. Baconers made from £3/16' to £4/10/-; light baconers, £3/6/ to £3/16/-; heavy porkers, £2/15/- to £3/5/-; medium porkers, £2/5/- tc £2/15/-; light porkers, £l/13/- to £2/3/-; large stores, £l/5/ to £ 1/16/; medium stores, £l/3/- to £l/11/-; slips, £1 to £l/6/-; weaners, 13/ to £1; breeding sows, £3 to £5; choppers, £2/10/- to £4/10/-.
