Seven Sons, One Daughter Serve Country
[Special to “Northern Advocate.”] WELLINGTON, This Day. All seven sons with the Fighting Services and one daughter working at Eo.se Records is the proud record of the family of Mr and Mrs A. O. Standen, of Wellington. Mr and Mrs Standen have lived practically all their lives in Wellington. There are 11 children, seven sons and four daughters. Of the seven sons, three are married, one having two children and another one child. One son left with the First Echelon and two more with the Second Echelon, two are in the Third Echelon. Another has enlisted and the youngest has served with the permanent artillery in New Zealand since the outbreak of the war. .
