t Special to “Northern Advocate ” 3 AUCKLAND, This Day. The latest voting returns in the Queen Carnival in aid of the Sick, Wounded and Distress Fund are as follows: Commercial Travellers: 328,673. Air: 179,252. Sea: 147.188. East: 118,011. Sports: 99,863. Soldiers: 98,772. South: 89,430. Fublic Service: 83,916. North: 74.164. Maori: 57,657. As a further effort to raise funds, the Citizens’ Committee has decided to raffle a five-roomed house, valued at £ISOO, which is now being built on a freehold section at the Winstone Estate. Dominion Road. Proceeds from this art union will be divided among all the queens in proportion to the number of tickets sold by the committees supporting each candidate.
