Total Clearance At Special Auction

Walter Wakelin, Ltd., reports having held a special sale of Jersey dairy heifers at Ruakaka yesterday. The heifers, which were of good quality and in splendid condition, met with a keen demand and a total clearance was effected. Best heifers, showing well forward, sold from £7 10/ In £8 12/6; good quality and more backward heifers, £0 to £7 10/; smaller heifers. £5 10/ to £6 10/. One choice Jersey cow, close to calving, realised £11; backward cows, to £6 10/.
