Sylt Raided, But No Damage Done
LONDON, April 24. A Berlin communique claims that a British aeroplane was shot down in Heligoland Bight. The official German news agency says British (aeroplanes dropped 10 bombs on Sylt, but no damage was done, and anti-aircraft guns routed the raiders. The news agency adds that bad weather over the North Sea caused German aeroplanes to fiy low, exposing them to the fire of British warships, and one Heinkel was damaged.
