An amateur boxing tournament in aid of the Lord Mayor's Red Cross Fund was held at Wembley in the- presence of the King. • In a welterweight contest Robert Charron, champion of "the French, army, and on leave from the Maginot Line, beat the Englishman, E. Kemp, on points. D. P. Reardon, last year’s middleweight champion defeated the Paris champion. G. P. Bodivit, on points. Britain won the tourney, three bouts to one. In the bantamweght class, • D. L.
