Kaikohe Miss Joan Urwin and Mr Geoff. Wickins, of Masterton, .are visiting Kaikohe and are the guests of Mr and Mrs Urwin. The guest speaker at the Women’s Division gathering held in the Masonic Hall on Thursday was Miss Thom, who displayed work and photographs while she spoke of her travel through Europe. Mrs Pollock, of Taheke, a member of the Women’s Division, left the district on Friday morning. The Red Cross “bring and buy” held in the Red Cross shop on Thursday, was successful. Russell Visitors to Russell this week include Mr L. Heard, of Auckland, m his new cruiser. Dr. W. H. Pettit, of Auckland, is staying with Mr and Mrs D. Woodcock, with whom Mr W. S. Reddell, of Auckland, is also a guest.
