Portland Bowling
The Portland Bowling Club held its first full-daj' tournament on Saturday, 16 teams taking part, with representatives from Dargaville, Kensington, Hikurangi and Whangarei. • At the conclusion of five games the following skips and their teams had four games to their credit: Whitharn (Portland), McNay (Hikurangi), and Curtis (Kensington). In the play-off. McNay's team accounted for Whitham and Curtis to win the trophies.
