Fraser Gets Century In Shield Match Against Wellington
[Per Press Association. Copyright.] DUNEDIN, This Day. After Otago was 82 runs behind on the first innings against Wellington in the last Plunket Shield match of the season, and it took four good wickets to knock off the arrears, the homo side's chances did not look too good at Carisbrook on Saturday afternoon. A fine stand, however, by Fraser (who made his Shield debut at Eden Park two vears ago) and Toomey playing in his first representative match, redeemed Otago’s position somewhat, and when sturrfps were drawn, Otago had 8 wickets down for 287 runs.
