Five Injured When Cars Collide

Five persons received slight injuries when two motor cars collided head-on in a heavy rain storm on the main road ten miles south of Hastings late on Saturday afternoon. The injured were Messrs Clement Leonard Makey, William Alsop. Stewart Munro, K. Retter, and Miss Katherin Williams. All suffered cuts about the head, abrasions and shock. The men are all residents of Palmerston North. . , The vehicles were practically wrecked by the severe impact.
