Desert Army's Huge Parade
CAIRO, ’February 8. The strength of the AngloEgyptian defence forces was demonstrated when the huge parade was held in the desert at Heliopolis on Wednesday, in the presence of King Farouk. The parade was inspected by General' M. Weygand, commanding the French forces in the Middle East, General Sir Archibald Wavell, commanding the British Forces, and General H. M. Wilson, commanding the British troops in Egypt. The troops are mainly mechanised.
