French War Correspondents In Britain
LONDON Jaunary 24,
French war correspondents attached to the General Headquarters of the British Expeditionary Force in France, who are in England at present, paid a visit today to the big armoured fighting school in the Southern Command.
They saw tank instructors and tank gunners being trained' to drive and fire both on practice ranges and on a driving ground. Subsequently one of the visitors, M. Andre Maurois, said they were all extraordinarily impressed, not only by the magnitude of the effort Britain is making, but also by the high quality of her material and by the high standard of intelligence among the non-commissioned officers and men. The Duke of Kent today visited the headquarters of the Royal Air Force Fighter Command,
