Finns Determined To Hold Olympic Games
(Received 12.30 p.m.) HELSINGFORS, December 20. In a message to working class youths throughout the world, the Workers’ Athletic League declares that they are determined to retain 1 the Olympic Games and also the 1945 Workers’ Olympiad, but adds: “We must first try to drive the barbarous invader from Finland.” Letters from Finland still continue to bear a postmark with an advertisement for the Olympic Games.
