Whareora To Be Weekend “Battleground”
Headquarters squadron of the North Auckland Mounted Rifles is to recapture Whangarei, which has fallen into enemy hands. That is the tactical scheme of a week-end territorial camp, which commenced at Whareora today and will extend over two days. It is the first of a series of military camps to be held in Northland. Sixty officers and men under the command of Lieut. E. V, Fry are to bivouac in the Whareora Hall.
Active service conditions will be observed.
