Despite inclement weather, a fair number attended the first dance organised by the Fairburns branch of the Red Cross on Tuesday night. Music was supplied by the local orchestra, with extras by Miss Joan Christensen and Mr Len Ramsay. Mr W. Metcalfe was M.C. "
