Maunu-Kara Women’s Institute Flower Show
The Maunu and Kara institutes held their third combined annual flower in the Maunu Hall on November 25. Among the invited guests were the Mayor and Mayoress of Whangarei, Mr. Mrs. Jones, arid the president of the District Federation of Women's Institutes, Mrs. Ross. Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Ross were presented with bouquets before Mr. Jones declared the show open. The judges were Mesdames Finch. Halliday, Inkster and Logan. The Prize List.
