Child Severely Scalded By Boiling Water

Severe scalds were suffered this morning by a three-year-old girl, Noeline Coward, who is dangerously ill in the Whangarei Hospital.

While playing at her home at fl o’clock this morning, the child, who is a daughter of Mr and Mrs Alfred Coward, of Ruatangata West, sat in a bucket of boiling water. She was immediately taken to the Whangarei Hospital, and her condition is reported to bo dangerous. It will bo some days before she' will be out of danger.
