The Model Theatre
It took two years to build the tiny seats for the model auditorium of “The Little Theatre,” which will be ,a feature at the Exhibition. The seats were made at the rate of 50 a month, and each one is modelled to scale and upholstered in crimson velvet. To construct the chandeliers, 100 necklaces were stripped and mounted on special frames. The minute bottles in the theatre bar have lettering on their labels 1-300th of an inch thick.
