N.A. Ladies’ Golf Tourney Begins
Miss D. Steele, runner-up last season, headed the first qualifying round in the North Auckland Ladies’ Golf Championship, which commenced at Mt. Denby links today. The title-holder, Miss J. Stewart, who also defeated Miss Steele in the final of the Whangarei championship recently, was equal second with Miss O. Stevens. The weather and links were ideal.
