“All Up” Air Mail Abandoned

The abandonment of the “all up” principle on the Empire air mail service w,as announced by the Post-master-General, the Hon. F. Jones, yesterday. The Minister added that the surcharge had been reintroduced for correspondence for all countries, including British countries, which it was desired should be forwarded to destinations by air services. If despatch by ,air was desired to England or other countries served by the Empire air service, postage at the rate of 1/6 each half-ounce must be paid.
