Mrs. R Williams Takes Ladies' Title
iftftco juauicd xi uc i KAIKOHE, This Day. Excellent golfing conditions prevailed at the Kaikohe links on Sunday, when the Boy of Islands Ladies’ Golf Championship was held, and won by Mrs P. M. Williams. Good entries were received from all clubs in the Bay, and play commenced early in the morning and continued until late in the afternoon. The cards returned in the championship were as follows: Mrs Williams, 88, 93—181; Mrs Thomas, 90, 93—183; Mrs Bainbridge, 93, 9G—189; Mrs Edwards, 96, 94—190; Mrs Burnett, 100, 98. 198; Mrs Wylie, 101, 103—204; Mrs Wyatt, 105, 111—216. In the medal round, Miss N. Pausina, 104. 30 —74, tied with. Mrs P. Williams, 88, 14 —74, Miss Pausin.a winning on the count back. The bogey match was won by Mrs Edwards, 4 down, Mrs Burnett being the runner-up, 5 down. The teams match was won by Mesdames Wyatt, P. Williams, Bainbridge, .and E. Williams, Miss Routley was victorious in the morning non-handicap medal match, and Mrs Hale won the afternoon 'match.
