Mr and Mrs H. G. Kilford. who have been staying with their son, Mr Ray Kilford. returned to their home at Takapau, Hawke’s Bay. Mr Ray KilCord accompanied them. Mrs W. H. Poolman left on Friday for Auckland, on her way to Te Awamutu, where she will attend the Methodist Church anniversary.
On Saturday, Messrs. J. Edge, M. Litt, J. Kehoe, J. Litt and D. Holmes left by mid-day express, en route to the military camp at Hapa Hapa, Ngaruawahia, where they will undergo a week’s training.
