High School Girls Inspect The Hospital
The sixth form of the Whangarei Girls’ High School spent a very interesting morning last Saturday as.the guests of the Superintendent of the Public Hospital, On their arrival the girls were accorded a brief but comprehensive resume of nursing by Sister Taylor, followed by a tour of the Nurses’ Home, the Maternity Annexe and the general hospital. Much interest was shown in the routine work in the hospital, particularly in the theatre and nursery at the annexe.
An enjoyable morning was brought to a close by a dinner with the nursing staff at which Miss Swayne, ma-
tron. was present.
