Mirrilees - Bagnall
A wedding of interest took place in the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Dargaville, on Saturday evening, when Joan, only daughter of Mr and Mrs C. L. Bagnall, was married to Ronald Mirrielees, only son of Mr A. J. Mirrielees and the late Mrs Mirrielees, of Tauranga. The bride chose a charming gown of pearl duchess satin cut on princess lines, with a very full skirt, which fell into a ’long train. A short tulle veil was worn with a topknot of pearl tinted ostrich feathers and she carried a shower bouquet of lilies of the valley and orange blossom.
The bridesmaids, Miss Joan Mirrielees, Miss Lois Hilliam, Miss Pauline Jones, were dressed alike in chiffon in shades of regal jourple, clover and mayfair blue respectively. of matching ostrich feathers were worn and they carried bouquets of toning flowers.
