Mr Cunningham, ivho is Crown Prosecutor at Wellington, has had a long and successful career as lawyer and soldier. Educated at the Wanganui Collegiate School, he practiced as a barrister and solicitor at Wanganui for many years. He was a keen Volunteer, and when the call to arms was sounded in 1914 he teas among the first to enlist. He had a notable career on active service, and returned to New Zealand as a colonel with a breastful of decorations.
