LADIES’ B Y.W.C.A. STILL IMPROVING
Both sides played good hockey when Y.W.C.A. defeated Hikurangi B at the High School ground, by 3 goals to nil, all being registered by Miss .1. Spratt. Hikurangi missed a penalty bully in the second half, and bad shooting spoiled several other opportunities. This is Y.W.C.A.’s first season in the competition, and are showing improvement with every game. Messrs. Nixey and Izod were the umpires.
