Drop Of 289 Tons In Whangarei Output
A decrease of 289 tons in output is recorded by the Whangarei Dairy Company for its season which ended on June 30.
In the 1937-38 year, 2833 tons were manufactured, while this season the output had dropped to 2544 tons. Advances to supplies amounted to £274,594 for the past season, £lO,llß more than the £264,476 advanced for the previous season. Progress payments to suppliers for June butterfat supplies will be £2440, about half of the £4558 advanced for the previous year.
