Parakao Social Activities
On Tuesday evening, another successful social was held in the Parakao Public Hall. Cards and table tennis were played, Mrs Noel Wilson superintending. There was a ver J y fair attendance. In the 500 tournament, Mrs J. Langman won the lady’s prize, while the men’s went to Mr W. Jenkins.
During the evening a decision was made to hold a settlers’ ball. A committee was formed to further the project, which is already creating much interest.
