Kawakawa School's New Teacher
[Special to “Northern Advocate ” 3 AUCKLAND, This Day.
Pupils of the Mangere Bridge School and residents of the district this week farewelled Mr L. J. F. Colgan, senior assistant at the school, who has left with Mrs Colgan, to take up an appointment at Kawakawa. Mr S. H. Bruford, chairman of the school committee, presided. Mr and Mrs Colgan were presented with a. standard reading lamp and an electric toaster, and Miss Diana Colgan with a bangle by the teachers, pupils and residents of the district.
